The technology in detail

A single-piece insulated facade, panel-free

Isoltech Green® combines a mineral thermo-active render with a facade finishing coat. The result: a continuous envelope that corrects the thermal performance, eliminates thermal bridges and restores a like-new facade — at low thickness.

Understanding the difference

Conventional panel-based EWI vs Isoltech Green®

Two opposing philosophies of external insulation. One stacks materials, the other corrects the wall.

The conventional approach · panels

You add layers

  • Panels bonded and mechanically fixed → through-fixings
  • Joints between panels → residual thermal bridges
  • Significant added thickness (often impossible in refurbishment)
  • Complex detailing points to handle (reveals, slab edges)
  • Multiple steps, cuts and on-site waste
The Isoltech Green® approach · render

You correct the wall

  • Panel-free and fixing-free — applied directly to the wall
  • Continuous render → 0 thermal bridges, even at detailing points
  • Low thickness — fits where conventional EWI cannot
  • Thermo-active material: radiative, phase shift, acoustic, fire-resistant
  • Ready to use, applied as a single piece → time saved on site

⚡ Time saved, in practice

Where a panel-based system chains together rails, bonding, dowelling, mesh and the treatment of every detailing point, Pro-Tech® is applied in continuous passes, ready to use. Fewer steps, less material, fewer cuts — your teams progress faster and take on more projects.

The principle

Two layers, perfect continuity

Where conventional EWI stacks panels — creating joints, and therefore thermal bridges — Isoltech Green® applies a continuous render directly onto the substrate, then a protective finishing coat. No break, no cold joint.

  • Low thickness — ideal for refurbishment and constrained buildings
  • Panel-free — no added thickness, no through-fixings
  • All substrates — concrete, stone, masonry, sound existing renders
  • Installation compliant with European standards

How it works

A thermo-active material, not just an insulant

Pro-Tech® does more than slow heat down: it acts on radiation, phase shift, fire and acoustics.

Thermal correction

Reduces heat exchange through the wall and eliminates the "cold wall" effect. Up to 40–60% savings according to feedback from our clients.

Radiative effect

Reflects thermal radiation instead of letting it pass through. Radiative retention measured at 66% (TENMAK Nuclear Research Institute test).

Thermal phase shift

Delays the penetration of summer heat into the wall: summer comfort is markedly improved.

0 thermal bridges

A continuous render with no panels or joints: continuity is maintained right through the detailing points.

Fire-resistant

EN 13501-1 fire classification: very low combustibility, no flaming droplets.

Acoustics

Absorbs and attenuates outside noise (ISO 354 / 11654) for enhanced sound comfort.

"0 thermal bridges" — the proof

Detailing points treated continuously

Because Pro-Tech® is applied as a single piece, the insulation continues without a break exactly where panels usually create cold zones.

International · standards by country

A system that adapts to each country's standards

Every country sets its own insulation requirement (thermal resistance R / U-value). The Isoltech Green® system isn't fixed: the Pro-Tech® thickness is sized to meet the locally required performance.

Beyond thermal resistance

Regulations think in terms of thermal resistance (R), a metric designed for homogeneous insulants under steady-state conditions. But Pro-Tech® is a thermo-active, heterogeneous material: its real behaviour — radiation (66 % radiative retention), thermal phase shift, fire, acoustics — cannot be reduced to a lab-measured R, which underestimates it. Thickness is adjusted to meet local requirements, but in-use performance and comfort go well beyond R alone.

Thicknesses and resistances sized project by project, according to the climate zone and local requirement.

Ideal for

Where conventional EWI cannot go

Old & heritage buildings

Thermal performance is improved without altering the appearance, at low thickness.

Complex facades

Mouldings, reliefs, detailing points: the process follows the details.

Multi-occupancy & public buildings

The fire classification allows use in multi-occupancy housing and public-access buildings.

Detached houses

Restored comfort and a renovated facade in a single operation.

Facade refresh + thermal upgrade

You refresh your facade AND gain thermal comfort at the same time.

Major or light refurbishment

From simple comfort gains to the rehabilitation of damaged external walls.

Documentation & partnership

Your facade deserves a serious assessment

Every project starts with an assessment in line with European standards. We don't apply a one-size-fits-all recipe: we size the solution to your building.
